73-Year-Old British Expat Injured in Electric Tricycle Accident in Pattaya

Pattaya police received a report of an accident in front of the Toe Tae Market on Chaiyaphruek 1 Road in Pattaya. Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation immediately rushed to the scene.

At the site, a red electric tricycle was found having crashed into wooden pallets. The injured driver, identified only as Mr. Garry, a 73-year-old British expat, sustained serious injuries, including a large head wound and heavy bleeding. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting him to Pattaya Hospital for urgent treatment.

Eyewitnesses said they saw Mr. Garry lying in a pool of blood and speculated that his tricycle collided with the wooden pallets. The tricycle sustained only minor damage, while the pallets were scattered across the road.

Pattaya police revealed that the pallets had been improperly placed on the road. The victim likely failed to notice them, causing the accident.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage to find individuals who had placed the pallets for potential legal action.
